THE ADMINISTRATIVE CONTROL OF TUBERCULOSIS
IN MIDDLESEX.
THE INSURANCE COMMITTEE.
The Insurance Committees are central authorities set up in counties and
county boroughs by the National Insurance Act, 1911, which authorities
consist of between 40 and 80 members. Middlesex Insurance Committee now
has 80 members; one-fifth of this number represent the County Council, of
whom two must be women; in addition there are three medical men. So there
are two members of the County Council on the Insurance Committee for each
Parliamentary Division, besides the two women and the three medical men.
