The first column gives the central height of the group for which the
average weight has been found. The heights of the children are recorded
at the medical inspection to the nearest half-centimetre. Thus the 92-94 group
includes all children whose heights are between 91.75 and 93.75, the central
height of the group being 92.75.
The weights and heights of the boys follow very closely, from the height of
94 cm. to 160 cm. the equation:—
W— 11.17 = .0039 (H — 64.07)2.
