Street Accidents
1,683 street accidents occurred in the Borough during 1970.
2,349 persons were injured and 33 died. These totals include 418
children under 15 years of age who were injured, and 4 who died.
Infant Mortality
There were 55 deaths of infants under 1 year of age during
1970. 50 of these were of legitimate and 5 of illegitimate births,
