Erysipelas
Eight cases were notified during 1966 compared with fourteen
notifications in the previous year.
Dysentery
Forty-three cases were notified, all of them being of the mild
sonnei type. These were all isolated cases and the infection did
not occur in epidemic form. Full investigations were carried out in
each instance. The corresponding number of notifications received
in 1965 was 28.
Food Poisoning
Seven cases were notified during the year compared with 17
in 1965. All of these affected single families or individuals and
proved to be of the salmonella type.
