The following details of swabs, specimens, etc., sent to these laboratories are given :—

The disinfecting station is situate at Waldo Road Depot. Details of the work carried out during 1954 are as follow :—

In the case of disinfections, rooms and furniture are sprayed
with Formalin, and Formalin candles are also burned.
Articles are steam treated with a pressure of 5 lbs. per square
inch.
Bedding is steam treated with a pressure of 10 lbs. per square
inch.
Disinfestation of Premises.
Rooms and furniture are sprayed with Zaldecide solution.
Bedding and articles are steam treated.
