INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOODS.
This service continues to receive the special attention of the
Department, and is one of its main functions. The co-operation
of the shopkeepers, restaurant owners, etc., and the personnel
engaged in the preparation and handling of food has been all that
could be desired.
No formal action was taken by the Council, during the year
1952, under the Bye-laws adopted under Section 15 of the Food
and Drugs Act, 1938.
