SANITARY INSPECTION OF THE AREA.
Full details of the varied duties involved in sanitary
inspection of the area as carried out by the Sanitary Inspectors,
are contained in Tables X, XI and XII in the Appendix.
The following are the aggregate totals under the respective headings:—

SMOKE ABATEMENT.
Eleven inspections and re-inspections were made by the
Inspectors. Two nuisances were found, and at the end of the
year four had been remedied. (This includes those carried over
from the previous year.)
