METEOROLOGICAL OBSERVATIONS.
I am indebted to the Borough Engineer for the following
information, which has been extracted from the records at the
Climatological Station at Church House Gardens:—
Total rainfall during 1952: 26.22 inches.
Mean maximum daily temperature: 57.38°F.
Mean minimum daily temperature: 42.68ºF.
Highest maximum temperature: 88°F. (on 1st July).
Lowest minimum temperature: 19°F. (on 27th January).
Lowest grass temperature recorded: 17ºF. (on 25th Nov. and 6th Dec.)
