POPULATION.
The Registrar General's estimate of the total population
(civilian and non-civilian) of the Borough, mid-year 1952, is
64,350, a decrease of 200 over the year 1951. This population
figure gives a density of 9.9 persons to the acre.
The natural increase of population (measured by the excess
of births over deaths), for the year was 188.
