INSPECTION AND SUPERVISION OF FOODS.
During the year, this service continued to receive the special
attention of the Department and is one of its main functions. The
co-operation of the shopkeepers, restaurant owners, etc., and the
personnel engaged in the preparation and handling of food has been
all that could be desired.
It was not necessary for the Council to take any formal action
under the Byelaws adopted under Section 15 of the Food and Drugs
Act, 1938.
