As I have pointed out in previous reports, important
factors which must be taken into consideration when
comparing- death rates are age grouping and sex
distribution of the population, and these have not been
taken into consideration in the above table.

Causes of deaths are tabulated in detail in the Appendix III., from which the following main causes have been extracted for 1933 and shown in comparison with 1932:—
