Of the 28 deaths from tuberculosis, it was found that
three (two pulmonary and one non-pulmonary) had not been
notified. One was that of a child of three years who died
suddenly, and upon whom an inquest was held and a verdict
of natural causes due to generalised tuberculosis given.
The second was an inward transfer of the death of an exsoldier,
who may have been notified elsewhere. In the third
case there had been omission to notify.
In 5 instances cases were notified on Forms C and D,
no previous notification of Form A having been received.
Of these, 3 were pulmonary and 2 non-pulmonary tuberculosis.
