previous year.

The number of live births registered during the year was
676, which gives a crude birth rate of 14.1 per 1, 000 of population,
the corrected birth rate being 14.2. The rate for 1958
was 12.9. There were 15 still-births, giving a still-birth rate
of 22.19 per 1,000 births. In 1958 the still-birth rate was
