DISINFECTION AND DISINFESTATION
The number of articles dealt with at the Disinfection Station
was as follows: -
Articles disinfected 168
Articles destroyed 97
20 rooms were disinfected on account of infectious disease.
11 premises were disinfested on account of the presence of vermin,
which involved the disinfestation of 32 rooms.
29 premises were treated for infestations of cockroaches, wasps,
ants, flies, bluebottles, fleas, beetles, bees, moths, lice and
silver fish.
103 library books were brought to the Department during the year
for disinfection.
