The number of articles dealt with at the Disinfection Station
was as follows

28 rooms were disinfected on account of infectious disease
16 premises were disinfested on account of the presence of vermin
which involved the disinfestation of 33 rooms
33 premises were treated for infestations of cockroaches wasps
ants, flies, fleas, beetles booklice and hornets
83 library books were brought to the Department during the year
for disinfection
