I do not apologise for making these remarks in the Annual Report
which I present as Medical Officer of Health The older age groups
of the population have every reason to expect special consideration
As I have just said,Wood Green has not been lacking in this respect.
Indeed, the work carried out in this Borough to help the
aged has been little less than monumental This is a task in which
everyone should play his or her part Until this fact is fully
realised, the problem will remain stark,menancing and increasing
month by month
