Samples of water were taken from both baths at regular intervals
during the year The results of the tests were uniformly
satisfactory.
I would once again emphasise the great value of our Swimming
Baths as health amenities of the very first order, I am quite
certain that the large attendances particularly at our Open Air
Swimming Bath during the summer of 1955 will have a most beneficial
effect on health for some time to come. It is sometimes
doubtful whether the true value of a swimming bath as an insurance
policy for health is fully realized I am happy to think however
that this fact is realized in Wood Green and that the many benefits
to be derived from regular visits to our Swimming Baths needs
no further recommendation in this Report.
