(Both these entries refer to the same boy. He has for several years past
been attending the School for the Deaf, Philip Lane, Tottenham. In July of
1939 his eyesight was found to be so difficult that he was recommended for
admission to a school for the blind, but before a vacancy could be found for him
he was evacuated with the School for the Deaf.)
