Dental Clinic.
Expectant and nursing mothers and children under school age in
need of dental treatment can obtain such treatment from the Dental
Surgeon at Stuart Villa on Tuesday afternoons, when recommended
by the Medical Officer at the Child Welfare Centre.

Light Treatment.
By arrangement with the Middlesex County Council mothers
and children are sent, as occasion arises, to the North Middlesex
County Hospital for artificial sunlight treatment.
Home Visiting.
During the year the Health Visitors made a total of 4,225 visits.
1,625 of these visits were to babies under one year of age, 2,289
to children of from 1 to 5 years of age, and 311 were ante-natal
visits to expectant mothers.
Free Food.
Free food, consisting of cows' milk, dried milks and cod liver
oil and malt was issued during the year to necessitous expectant
and nursing mothers attending the Centre, at a cost of £659 5s. 11d.
Infant Life Protection.
The Health Visitors have continued to act as Infant Life Protection
