SANITARY CIRCUMSTANCES OF THE AREA.
Water Supply.
The whole Borough is in the area supplied by the Metropolitan
Water Board and every house has a constant supply.
Rivers and Streams.
There are two watercourses in the Borough, the Muswell Stream
and the Moselle Brook. Both of these are culverted, so that there
are no open streams in the area.
Drainage and Sewerage.
All premises in the Borough are connected up to the Council's
sewers. There is a dual system of drainage, the soil drains being
connected to the main sewers which carry the sewage to a pumping
