During the year 1925 she has seen 118 expectant mothers at
the Ante-Natal Clinic, with a total attendance of 401; and 421
infants and 246 children at the Centres, with a total of 2,584
attendances.
A list of the Centres and times of attendance appears earlier
in this Report.
The'Health Visitors attend the various Centres for the purpose
of weighing the children and infants and giving advice as to
feeding, etc., all special cases being referred to Dr. Boyd-Mackay.
One cannot leave this subject without mentioning the valuable
assistance rendered by the Voluntary Helpers, who give their time
each week to assisting in the work generally at the Maternity and
Child Welfare Centres, and I desire to here acknowledge the good
work they do.
Arrangements have been made, with the consent of the Ministry
of Health, for the admission of maternity cases—both normal and
complicated—to the North Middlesex Hospital.
During the year 1925, 18 cases were dealt with.
