I am aware that the Committee have in contemplation the erection of a Health Centre in
the North Cricklewood area but even when this Centre is erected the amount of relief given to Health
Centre (3) will not be such that the extensions proposed will no longer be required having regard to the
general increase in old and the new services undertaken. I have therefore been in consultation with the
Engineer as to the necessary extension of this building which would enable all the work to be undertaken
under reasonable conditions and meet the ultimate needs of the area it will serve. It is hoped
that it will be possible to arrange for an extension to be built during the summer months so that the
Centre may be ready before another winter sets in to deal with the demands upon it.
