Furness Road, and Leopold Road Council Schools, the
Board have also deducted the item of £120 from the claim
submitted by the Authority.
The Board have decided to pay a grant amounting to
£1,461 3s. 6d., equal to 50 per cent. of the remaining
expenditure.
The Board state that, in determining the grant to be
paid this year, they have taken into consideration the
exceptional circumstances which prevailed during the
greater part of the year 1914—1915, and that it must not
be assumed that grant will necessarily continue to be paid
at the same rate in future.
