The above Tables, Nos. 45 and 46, show
(1) That the decline in all forms of respiratory diseases
still continues.
(2) That all forms of tuberculosis, including tuberculosis
of the lungs, are on the decline in Willesden.
(3) That the combined death rate from Heart Disease and
Rheumatism is higher than in any of the previous
years.
(4) That there is a large increase in the death rate
from diarrhoea and enteritis. In 1912 the death
rate from these diseases was .212, the lowest ever
recorded in Willesden. In 1913 it was .446. This
year it is .678, an increase of over 50 per cent.
(5) That the death rate from cancer is lower than in either
of the two preceding years.
(6) That the death-rate from Influenza is lower than in any
of the preceding years.
(7) That the death rate from Rickets is the lowest on record,
being the same as that in 1907.
