Provision for Small Pox Patients.—Kingsbury Hospital.

To the Chairman and Members of the
Hospital Committee.
Small Pox Hospital, Kingsbury.
The Clerk of the Council informed me on the 28th
November last that the purchase of land for the purposes
of the above Hospital had been completed. Under these
circumstances it is necessary to consider what provision
should be made for cases. The last outbreak of Small Pox
occurred in 1902, when 88 cases were notified, of which 76
were admitted to the Hospital at Kingsbury between
February 22nd, 1902, and June 14th of the same year. The
Hospital was open in that year from February 22nd until
July 5th.

The greatest number of cases at any one time in the
Hospital during the last outbreak is indicated in the follow-
