The fullest possible use should be made of baby clinics
and infant dispensaries to instruct mothers, not only in the
care and management of infants and young children and
themselves during pregnancy and after confinement, but also
in such allied subjects as domestic and personal hygiene,
home nursing, sewing and cookery. In connection with this
last matter again, the fullest possible use should be made of
the kitchens to be established for the cooking of dietaries
suitable to all ages, as represented by children under five
and adult women.
