Sick Staff.
A larger number of members of the staff were incapacitated
for duty for more than twenty-four hours at a time last
year than in 1913, the corresponding numbers being 54 in the
former year and 45 in the latter. Nevertheless, the aggregate
number of days they were ill was only 660, 383 fewer
than in 1913, and the average period off duty was 12.2 days,
as against 23.1 days per person in the previous year.
Two nurses, two ward maids, and one porter contracted
Scarlet Fever, and one nurse Diphtheria, all of whom made
good recoveries.
Hospital Buildings.
No additions or alterations calling for comment were
made during the year.
