Notice to Parents of Defective Conditions in
Children Requiring Treatment.—From the foregoing
Table, No. 74, it will be noted that 2,766 children medically
inspected were referred for medical or dental treatment.
In all these cases notices were sent to the parents calling
their attention to the defects and advising them to seek
remedial measures. Urgent cases were still further referred
for home visitation with the view of assisting parents to
secure treatment.
