Of the total number of 1,399 cases of tuberculosis notified
since January 1st, 15)09, as shown in Table No. 53, 720
remained under observation at the end of the year 1913.

Administrative Action With Regard to Tuberculosis—Visitation.—On
receipt of the notification of a
case of tuberculosis, a health visitor visits the house. During
the year the health visitors paid 531 primary visits and
1,471 subsequent visits, making a total of \isits and revisits
of 2,002.
