* Includes 4 primary cases with 1 return case each
** Includes 1 primary case and 1 secondary case with 1 return case.
† Includes 1 primary case and 1 secondary case with 2 return cases; also 1 primary case with 2 return cases, and 1 return case
the primary case of which was one of the return cases just mentioned.
‡ Includes 7 return cases. The primary case does not appear, as it was notified as suffering from Diphtheria, and found to have
Scarlet Fever later when in Hospital. This accounts for 17 return cases. The remaining 9 return cases appear amongst houses in which
only one case occurred, because in 5 instances the primary case occurred in 1912, and was counted in the 1912 return. In 3 instances
the primary cases occurred whilst the patients were staying outside Willesden, and therefore do not appear at all. In one instance the
family moved from one address in Willesden to another after the occurrence of the primary case and before the occurrence of the return case.
§ For footnotes on 1912 and 1911 cases see reports of these years
