8. Washing Accomodation.
That suitable and sufficient washing accommodation
is provided.
9. Storage of Food.
That a food cupboard suitably lighted and ventilated
to the external air is provided for each separate
dwelling or tenement.
10. Sanitary Conditions.
That the sanitary conditions of each separate
dwelling or tenement are otherwise satisfactory.
Canal Boats Acts, 1877 and 1884.—The following is
the report of the Inspector under these Acts:—
Gentlemen,
In accordance with Section 3 of the Canal Boats
Act, 1884, I beg herewith to present the Annual Report
for the year ending 31st December, 1913, on the work
carried out under the above Acts, and the Regulations
relating to canal boats issued by the Local Government
Board.
The Canal at Lower Place is situated at the
extreme border of the district, about three-quarters of
a mile of it passing through Willesden.
During the year 85 visits were made to the canal,
81 boats were inspected, and of this number 21 were
found to be contravening the Regulations by one or
more infringements, the remaining 60 were found to
be in good structural repair and in a cleanly condition.
