Census Returns, 1911.—Certain information in regard
to the results disclosed by the Census figures for 1911 is
now available. In addition to the ordinary return of the
Census Office, information has been obtained showing the
age and sex distribution in each street in Willesden.
Rate of Increase of Population.—The population of
Willesden at the Census, 1911, numbered 154,344; in 1901,
114,811, and in 1891, 61,265. The provisional return of the
Census placed the population as 154,21,4, but the revision
showed that the true figure was as stated above. The
percentage increase during the decennium 1901-1911 was
34.3 as compared with 87 :4 during the preceding decennium
1891-1901. The rates of increase for the various districts
in the Outer Ring are shown below in Table No. 5.

Age and Sex Distribution in Wards.— The following
Table, No. 6, shows the age and sex distribution in the
various Wards in Willesden at the Census, 1911, as compiled
from the special return obtained from the RegistrarGeneral.
