Children Selected for Medical Inspection.—The
following- Table, No. 88, shows the principle on which
the selection of the children for medical inspection during
1913 has been based:—

Infant's' Departments.
(a) Children under (i years of age.
(b) Only those children over seven years who are specially detained on account of being backward.
L'pper Departments.
(a) Children between 7 and 8 years.
(b) Children between 10 and 11 years.
(c) Children over 13 years.
Both Departments.
Children specially referred by the teacher.
