Death Rates from Certain Infectious Diseases.—
The following Table, No. 65, shews the death rates per
100,000 of the population from scarlet fever, diphtheria,
enteric fever, measles and whooping cough since 1875 :—

The foregoing Table, No. 65, shows that the death
rates from scarlet fever, diphtheria, and enteric fever
are gradually diminishing, and that during 1913 only 11
deaths per 100,000 of the population occurred from these
causes.
