the respective Ward boundaries of the two drainage areas so that no
Ward is situated partly in one and partly in the other area.
"(5). That consideration be had to the facilities of inter-communication
within a Ward for polling purposes.
"(6). That wherever practicable the Ward boundaries should run
at the rear of the houses in a street, so that both sides of the road are
situated in the same Ward."
With slight modifications in respect of the older Kilburn Wards
where it was deemed undesirable to make extensive alterations this
scheme was adopted. Four new Wards were created and the necessary
adjustments of the boundaries of the existing Wards made. The
following table gives the number of houses and estimated population
of the Wards under the re-distribution scheme as adopted by the
Council at their meeting on February 26th. 1907.
