REPORT ON EXPENDITURE OF PUBLIC
HEALTH DEPARTMENT.
To the Chairman and Members of the
Works and General Purposes Committee.
Gentlemen,
In accordance with your instructions I have the honour
to submit a return of the cost of the Public Health Department
during the last seven years.
I am indebted to the Clerk and the Engineer for kindly
furnishing me with an account of expenses relating to my
department, which were entered in books of account kept by
them. The return does not include the Sinking Fund and
Interest on that portion of the public offices used by the
department, nor the cost of heating and lighting the same.
But apart from this I believe it to be a full and complete
return.
