The total amounts to £8,644 16s. 7½d, and if this
sum be divided up amongst the 858 patients treated,
the cost per patient is £10 1s. 6d. The average
stay in hospital of the patients treated was 46.3
days.
In conclusion I would take this opportunity of
thanking the principal officers and other members of
the staff who have rendered me loyal assistance.
No one appreciates more than I do, their zeal,
thoroughness and the excellence of their work.
