†Standard Quantity.—Theoretical No. of cubic yards of Refuse removed on the assumption that the mean number
of cubic yards collected for each house during the last 7 years had remained constant for all the houses in the district. The
mean amount per house for this period is 4.5 cubic yards. The quantity rises steadily and proportionately to the number of
new houses added to the district.
