COWSHEDS AND MILKSHOPS.
The number of cowsheds are gradually diminishing
as the district expands. At the present time
there are seven existing. During the past year
Goddard's Farm at Lower Place has been closed. The
Royal Agricultural Society having taken the land at
the extreme end of the district bordering on Acton
has practically absorbed another, one of the largest
dairy farms in the Willesden area. Of those
remaining one is situated in the South Kilburn Ward,
two in Kensal Green Ward, three in Willesden Green
Ward, and one in Llarlesden.
The cow sheds are inspected annually and as
occasions arise. The cleansing and limewashing of
the sheds occurs during the time the cows are out at
pasture.
