Albuminuria is by far the most serious of the
complications above dealt with, and the substantial
reduction in the incidence rate of this complication is
in some measure accountable for the low fatality rate
from Scarlet Fever.
Last year 5, or 12.5 per cent, of the cases complicated
by Albuminuria died. This year 1, or 4 per
cent., succumbed.
