Wembley Smoke Control Orders Nos. 1—8, 1960-1962.
The areas covered by these Orders have been under surveillance
during the year and no contraventions calling for formal action have
been observed.
Section 25 : Measurement of atmospheric pollution.
Thanks to the willing co-operation of the headmasters and staff
of the three schools concerned and of the management and staff of the
research laboratory, daily recording of the smoke and sulphur dioxide
content of the air, has remained in progress throughout the year at
the four measuring stations set up by the Department at:—
Kingsbury County Grammar School.
Wembley County Grammar School.
Claremont County Secondary School.
G.E.C. Research Laboratories, First Way, Exhibition
Grounds.
