New Dental Clinics are being established where a Surgeon Dentist attends
to extract teeth and correct diseases and malformation of the teeth.
The large Army Hut at the Whitehall School, Cowley Road, Uxbridge, is
for Medical Inspection and Dental Clinics, and serves a considerable area around
Uxbridge.

Of these 14 two were illegitimate.
On the estimated population the above figures give a birth rate of 28. per
1,000, as compared with 17.03 per 1,000 for 1919.
The birth rate for the whole of England and Wales was 25.4 per 1,000; so
the Uxbridge Rural District is above the average, whilst in 1919 it was slightly
below.
Deaths.
The number of deaths was 116, consisting of 61 males and 55 females; this
shows an increase of 12 on 1919, but an increase of eight is shown in the mortality
under one year, so the deaths over one year are four more than 1919.
