Milk, (Mothers and Children) Order, iqi8.—Action was taken in this matter very
soon after the Order was issued, anc has been continued up to the present
time. On an average about 17 families have constantly been in receipt
of a free supply of Milk under this order.
(b) Other Foods.—The conditions of storage and exposure for sale of foods
have generally been satisfactory.
Below are given the principal items of foods condemned as being unfit
for human consumption.
1. Bacon 422 lbs.
2. Rabbits (Frozen) 180 „
3. Tinned Foods Corned Beef 6 lbs.
Tomatoes 63 tins
Condensed Milk 170 ,,
4. Fish Wet 423 lbs.
5. Vegetables Potatoes 534 lbs.
