(a) Milk.- The following Report upon the Dairies and Cowsheds in this District
has been received from the Veterinary Inspector:
April 20th, 1920.
To the Chairman and Members of the Uxbridge Urban District Council.
Annual Report. Veterinary Inspection. Dairies & Cowsheds.
Uxbridge Urban District, 1919.
Gentlemen,
I beg to report that visits under the above head have been made at frequent
intervals to the premises concerned.
The state of cleanliness of the premises visited has been found satisfactory.
Whitewashing has been carried out regularly. Any suggestions made under this
head have been at once carried out to my satisfaction.
There are relatively few cows kept in the Urban area at the present time,
and the standard of health among the animals is high.
No cases of Tuberculosis of the udder or generalised Tuberculosis have
been detected.
A list of the premises visited is attached.
