ISOLATION HOSPITAL.
The number of patients treated in hospital
during 1940 was 381, as against 334 during 1939,
and 562 during 1938. (This number comprises all
patients admitted during the year, together with
those in hospital on 1st January, 1940).
The following table sets out the number of patients admitted to the hospital during 1940, and the areas from which those patients were admitted:
1939. | 1940. | |
---|---|---|
Southgate | 67 | 101 |
Tottenham | 258 | 150 |
Wood Green | – | 1 |
Hornsey | - | 1 |
Middlesex County Council | - | 4 |
Refugees | - | 4 |
Military Authorities | – | 111 |
325 | 372 |
It will be seen from this table that, but for
the admission of 111 military cases, the total
patients admitted would have been considerably below
the figure for 1939.
