These Nursing Homes provide facilities for the treatment oi
medical, surgical and maternity cases, and are under the direct
supervision of the Middlesex County Council.
Nursing in the Home.—(a) The Southgate Queen's Nursing
Association has continued the work set out in last year's Annual
Report, and, as the figures set out in the following table will show,
has increased the scope of the services provided. The Council's
arrangement with the Nursing Association is working admirably,
and has now become an established factor in the public health services
of the Borough.

In addition to the work outlined above, the Southgate Queen's
Nursing Association supplied, as heretofore, its usual efficient
general services, which also continue to show a very definite
increase.
The following table sets out the work carried out by the
Queen's Nursing Association during 1937, so far as its own
activities are concerned.

The Southgate Queen's Nursing Association undertakes the
recognised midwifery service in the Borough, under the auspices of
