Diagnosis Outfits.—The diagnosis outfits provided by the
Council for the use of the medical practitioners in the District
for sending morbid specimens from suspected cases of Diphtheria,
Typhoid Fever, and Phthisis to the Lister Institute of Preventive
Medicine for bacteriological examination and report have been
made extensive use of, and continue to prove of great service in
establishing a correct diagnosis in these diseases, to the advantage
of the general public health, as well as of those more immediately
concerned.
