HEALTH REPORT.
AREA AND POPULATION.
The Urban District of Sidcup was constituted in 1902, the
District previously being contained within the Rural District
of Bromley. The change in name from "Foots Cray" to
"Sidcup" became operative from 1921.
The area of the District is 2,043 acres.
The number of inhabited houses within the District is
1,970, and the Rateable Value is £72,962. A penny rate
represents £285.
The population at the time of the Census in 1921 was
8,920, and for 1925 it is estimated at 9,271, as compared with
an estimated population for 1924 of 8,924.
