the figure of 12.65 for 1955.
For the purpose of comparison with other districts or the
country as a whole the Corrected Birth Rate is 13.86.
The Corrected Birth Rate is obtained by multiplying the
Crude Birth Rate by 1.01, the Comparability Factor supplied by
the Registrar-General.
