11. SWIMMING POOLS
Ruislip Lido
Forty-five samples of water were obtained and submitted to
the Central Health Laboratory Colindale, all of which were
satisfactory.
Private Swimming Pools
Private swimming pools in the District were regularly
inspected and samples obtained, all of which were satisfactory.
12. FOOD HYGIENE REGULATIONS. 1955
(a) These regulations came into force on the 1st January, 1956.
Certain Sections under these regulations however with reference
to the provision of sinks, hot and cold water supplies,
accommodation for clothing etc., did not come into force until
the 1st July, 1956 Food shops restaurants and premises where
food is prepared, stored or sold have been frequently inspected
and the following works were carried out in accordance with
these regulations during the period 1.7.56 to 31.12.56
